Post subject:  Slick GUI HTML / CSS

Hi all,

every time when it comes to gui / interface stuff i'm struggling with it. there are some nice libs out there like twl, sui, thingle and so on. but sometimes those libs are lacking functionality or the api / xml templates are overwhelming.

html, css and javascript are web standards and it's easy to get started with it. why is there no gui-lib which utilizes those standards?

maybe it's time to get our hands dirty?

floating elements, ordered and unordered lists, images, embedded widgets, text with different alignment, justified text, different fonts, limited table support (no row span, no auto column width) and links.
