Hi,

It's been a long time since I did code anything (apart from some scripts here and there for my work) and some days ago a nice game idea popped in my head.

I'm still working on the concept and the design document (might take some time to get the game concept ready for production). So here's a little mockup :

Why am I posting this here ? Because I heavily rely on Slick and Phys2D, and I think Kev has the right to know how his libs are used ;)

By the way, thanks Kev for your great libs. They are very fast to work with and very well-designed without being bloated. Just what I needed for my (not-yet-a-)game.

Quick question : Phys2D is BSD, what about Slick ? I didn't find any informations about its license...

Thanks !

About the art style, it's not absolutely new, it's becoming quite common, but I just love it and it's perfect for this game concept. Speaking about the visual style, I'd have loved to see Limbo done as an actual game (although it's way more different than what I'm aiming at).

To describe Kiwi a little bit, think about √Čric Chahi's games meeting Lemmings & Oddworld (the first one). Can't say more as it's not fully well-defined yet.
