I already did rewrite it ;)

I just found the language exciting and less verbose than java.

omg I just saw this game?? ... oh if only seen it sooner, we would be sharing plenty of stuff as I also have a similar game.. very similar... based on a guy that just kills monsters. Mine is more like crimisonland while your has an story / adventure behind... but still, shame I did not spot the game sooner.

I'll be watching the game's progress and I'll leave feedback soon ;)

Well also my fault I did not release anything in the last year about my game.

Basically I complete rewrote it.

But soon maybe I will release a playable demo or something (no promise, been at it for a year now ;) )

So can I ask how did you do lighting? I mean the pure Java version, lighting there is awesome.. colored lights and such. Also if you changed lighting in the newest version, how did you do it?

Lighting in slick (or the lack of it) is my current occupation and I want to build something modern and useful. I've started to learn shaders but it will be some time until I implement something useful.

Lightning is done very simple just like the slick lightning example/test.

Just setting corner colors of images.

I also calculate line of sight to the corners for shadow.

Does it:

run smooth?
music/sounds play?

Excellent!! I liked the concept, the mp/hp recharge when not in combat is very nice!!. And the variety of foes, the ones shielded against ranged attacks were a good idea . The game is fast paced and fun!

Yes

Yeah but i have some observations on this:

1 consumables: why not let the user right click to use?.
2 Throw a potion over the portal.. Can't pick it up again.
3 cant use pots throwing it over the character.
4 restore hp/mp on level up?
5 the right mouse button action can be changed to "Sell" at the inventory (when selling) and to "Drop " when not?

Yes!!!

Generalities:
- The "mana"concept… can be changed for another thing.. (Nanites, Energy, Psi-Power)?

Hm what do you mean? There are only monsters with more armor, so they are shielded against any kind of damage also from your sword.

Good game.
Sounds was little too loud. Music sometimes glitched when loadin level. Icons need little more polishing. Attacking to enemies could take little more skills. More timing little less button smashing. Graphics are quite good.

Ooops! my Fire Projectile skill was very low and i had to make some shoots before see any changes in the monster health. ^^u

i also found another thing.. after some uses the portal at dungeon dissappears, but the one at town not.

Thx.

Yes I am aware the game is a bit simple just button smashing ^^

Any ideas how to make it more challenging and needing timing?

Yes those shoots reduce the opponents armor.
Didnt you read the skill description? :P

Maybe I need to show the armor (shown on mouseover at top of screen) a bit different.... Maybe a red shield when armor reducing...
