Thanks! I'm just waiting on my artist at the moment lol. So much to draw... but, hopefully, i'll have a demo ready in a couple of months. I'll be sure to post it then.

I posted this on another thread, but it's appropriate to post here as well

This is a proof of concept of a tank game I'm working on. This video is a few weeks old and there's a lot missing. For one thing, I hadn't written the collision detection between the enemy bullets and the tank.

I now have enemy turrets which follow your position. The tank has a shield which takes damage before the tank. And there's a health bar which shows your tank's health and shield strength. Also, the tank now has primary guns on the tank itself as well as the rocket from the turret.

The more I work on it the more I realize there is to do. To make this a playable game will take many months of focused development. (and much better artwork)

Hey, I just want to point out a few projects I've been working on/work on that uses Slick2d.

First of all: Mind the Sheep, a sheep herding game that works in combination with a brain-computer interface. I made it with a friend of mine for experiments our master thesis. You select one of your herding dogs by looking at it and tell it with the mouse.

A more recent project of mine is making a Space Hulk game in Java (A Warhammer 40k boardgame):

R.D., I would love for you to either re-upload your demo, or relase the source code, I would love to see what your menu code looks like!

Just registered and want to thank slick for doing a lot of stuff for me.
I'm working on an online 2d shooter. It's in early stages but I hope I can finish it some day! No graphics artist yet, or even name for the game.

looks really awesome. reminds me a bit worms, but without round based fights. must be really fun to play and there's probably a lot of space for innovations. keep up!
