Demo, yes... currently not.

The next thing I will be working on.
Currently I am glad that finally I finished the game ;-)

Excellent looking game. I can't wait to try a demo or see the game in action. My suggestion would be to reduce the amount of text on your website and a more proffesional blurb on your buy page.

Thanks,

The buy page: Does it contain too little info? Where are you pointing at?

If you are willing to provide me some feedback on the game I could give you a coupon to get the game for free.
Just, let me know.

Isn't better have a public fast-play-demo version of the game? No one will buy your game without trying it

looks really cool, at least from the screenshots. Are you distributing it on android?

Yes you are right.

At least a short trailer is done.

Yes, that's a goal, Fruit on Rails is very well suited for the tablets... I have my own abstraction layer which already generated the Android code.
But this is based on the Android Canvas, and the FPS was limited to 25 FPS.
So now I will extend my layer with another target, I didn't get SlickAE to work, perhaps libGDX or direct Android OpenGL.

Linux is still a target but the Linux test still show some issues according to the sound, frame-rates, screen sizes and some more :-(

In my abstraction layer I have also have PlayN (from Google) as an target, I didn't touch that part for a while but if it's work it could open the way to HTML5 and iOS?

By "blurb" I mean this following text:
Quote:
3QC Games is a small indie game developer. Fruit on Rails is the first release of the first game of 3QC Games. Although a lot of effort has been done to have a bug free product, it still could be that there are some issues. If this is the case contact me on info@3qc.nl and you will get help of the developer himself (try to get that from an AAA company).

It just seems to be little off-putting. It is the only non-technical info on the page and my eyes were lead directly to that line. I would suggest something like "3QC Games is a small indie game developer. Fruit on Rails is the first release of 3QC Games. We take great lengths to make your gaming experience a great one. If you have any problems, you can contact the developer directly: info@3qc.nl. We will personally respond to you with the utmost urgency." Just a suggestion.

Yes, that sound much better, I replaced the text.

Thanks

thanks! All my comments are about this demo and IMHO:

Nice and relaxing game. For new trains maybe you can show an indicator (for example in tutorial map before a new train appears, I can hear some sound of it). I don't like too much text in this kind of game, keep it balanced to game mechanics :D
You can also animate fruits, in particular eyes and smiles ?
You can also speed up transitions? In menues are just too slow :(

I see a future for this kind of game on facebook or google + , well done!

Thank you for your comments.

"New train indicator"... well there should be a visual (as well audio) indicator on place where a new train will arrive.

The fruit has a simple animation (just pick randomly 1 of the 4 states).... I am/was planning to animate the "mood"... angry looking fruit when they must wait...

There "should" be a red circle with a black '!' sign popping at the entrance when a train enters the field.
