Graphics of the ship is not as good as the asteroids, different style.
The soundtrack and sound effects are great and made a lot of the fun! Great idea

Innovation: 4/5
Fun: 4.5/5 (Game I had the most fun with atm, very nice. Maybe make shooting a little faster, cause it's slow in my opinion).
Theme: 4/5
Overall: 4.5/5 (Could be cool to have this app on iphone/android I think!)

Yea, I made the tank/towers first and then learned how to draw better with the meteors. Planet and buttons are pretty plain too if compared with the meteor art style, heh.

Why do you think it has this resolution? ;D

It's a good prototype I could remake for mobiles adding some stuff like more types of towers, power ups and waves.

Overall a very good game; I really enjoyed the spinning night sky. However, the pace of the game was kind of offputting, but I cannot really put my finger on why. Perhaps, as has been said it was the speed of the cannon, but I would like to see something that made everything seem more "urgent".

I was so phyched when I first time saw screenshot. I even started to make game with same mechanic. Sequal to shapetronic. But then I started the game and I get like 100exceptions and heard in game "musics and sounds" I was very disapointed.
Graphics are quite good but too static. Star parallax somehow seems to be wrong. Don't know how but I have made wrong looking parallax my self so I know this with experience. When its look right you don't even notice it. Game feel just like those gamemaker games where it's look quite good but there is not that feeling. Little more polishing and this would be totally different game.
It's positive that game started and runned without errors. You have good idea keep going.

I liked everything about this entry! Did you home-brew all the sounds and music? It went very well with this competition. The pace was challenging without being frustratingly difficult. The menu image was superb.

I'm glad you liked it! Everything single asset in this game is home-brew images and sound (I just used a Mic and Audacity for sounds).

Also about the difficulty it was one of the things I spent most of my time to try and make it challenging yet not frustrating. At first it was too easy with no real challenge then I made some complex graph stuff but the difficult curve was too sudden and it was impossible after around 6 minutes.

Now... well... still many people can't reach the end game (7mins +).. I guess game is always easier for those who develop them, heh.
