I'd like to request a "New System" button in the pedigree file menu, and an additional gravity bar for x-direction gravity. :)

It would be useful to be able to see how many particles are currently being used. Maybe a minimum and maximum would be useful too. Obviously this would help you design your particle emitter by using the minimum number of particles as possible to increase performance.

Also an FPS meter might be handy to show in the particle editor even if any implementation of a particular particle system would give different results.

I see you've implemented my suggestions kev which is cool. But I think the maximum particle count should work differently. The maximum should always be reset whenever you change something that can effect the number of particles. Similarly a minimum count could work the same way.

It would also be handy to have a pause/resume button.

i'd like the ability to clone emitters, so that i can edit the already created emitter, for example i have an explosion, i clone it (instead of adding a new one and then editing it from scratch) change time a bit and color, and i have a nice smoke effect.

Right now left clicking allows moving the active emitter - maybe you just need a toggle button to switch between placement of emitter or system?
