It'll work till I try to change some values, then it'll freeze.

I beleive this is a java 1.6 problem thats been fixed in a later version.

The GL issue is threading related to the above issue.

I am still having the problem mentioned above. I am using the pedigree build from the website using Windows XP. Here is my java version.

$> java -version
java version "1.6.0_17"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_17-b04)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 14.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing)

I am not convinced that the problem is related to java threading as the following steps reproduce the issue consistently:
1) Select "Rendering Tab"
2) Select "Points"
3) Select "Quads"
Error above is logged, rendering stops.

I would love to see this issue fix as myself and my friend are starting to use complicated particle system as part of the our game.
