Hey

I'm surprised I did not find any info on this. So here goes my question. Since a while now LWJGL3 is available for download (not the complete version though but it's usable). Unfortunately slick's utility won't work with LWJGL3. Is there any news or information?

I was able to write my own Texture class for PNG with ease, but I get entirely stuck when it comes to TTF and especially audio. I'm a absolute beginner when it comes to OpenGL and I'm even surprised I got this far. I tried to recompile the source already but well, as expected lots of errors and I do not know how to deal with it.

Thanks in advance
TBJ

Compiled a LWJGL3 compatible version of Slick-Util for you, you can grab it from here.

Do keep in mind that LWJGL3 is still a WIP and its API is still changing regularly.

I'm sorry to bother you with this, but I really have no idea how to use it. Amazing though you recompiled everything for me but how should I use this?

Oh, thought you already were using it hence you needed Slick-Util for LWJGL3.

If you have no knowledge of Slick-Util, i'd suggest you start here and read the 3 part tutorial.

But remember those tutorials are written for LWJGL2 and you'll need to adapt them for LWJGL3, alternatively you could just use LWJGL2.

I've actually used it with LWJGL2. But the packages were different, which is why I got stuck. The contents of slick-util.jar differs from the contents of the source. so I got a bit lost there actually :v
