Slick0.3 is an old version. Could you build from the trunk/Slick version (there is an ANT build file with "slick-build" task). Or we could set up a tag if needed...

Dear friends,

I'm currently developing a (serious) breakout game with Slick. I discovered it months ago and really appreciate it. I was thinking about switching back to SDL 1.3, another amazing library that I know well, but as long as the Slick project is alive, it's very good news !

If there is a mailing list, I'd be interested ; let me know !

Slick now uses the latest version of LWJGL - 2.8.5 nightly. Anyone who's got local copies of LWJGL (jars or natives) for their projects should probably update those as well. Also note, now the natives are packaged alongside Slick in a "natives" folder instead of placing them in a JAR.

Let me know if this causes any issues.

Hey guys,

Just to be clear, is the jar from dime (http://www.powerengine2a.com/slick/) a good version to rely on?
Or do I need to pull from BitBucket to get updates?

And maybe we should do something about the website to point people in these directions? Is Kevin the only one that can make those kind of updates?

Btw I love slick. It's great and works really well for what it was designed to do. It would be really really sad if it was to be lost in time.

No, that JAR is out of date.

Liam and some others are working on the new site:
http://www.slick2d.org/

You will have to pull from bitbucket until the next releases is uploaded to the site.

Sorry to hear about the changes, but it sounds like it will become much easier to post patches, which is great, as I have a number of enhancements I'd like to put forward in the coming months

Edit: nevermind I see the branches are downloadable. I need to figure out how to take the user straight to the branches tab on the downloads page.

Edit #2: I've just linked directly to the dev branch download zip file, should be all good.
