Well, Fizzy is just a layer of niceness on JBox2D, which is a direct-to-Java port of Box2D...and I'd say more than half the challenge of learning to use Fizzy is actually learning how Box2D works. Check out the when you're interested -- I made the mistake of trying to skip that step when learning about Fizzy. You won't need everything you learn there, of course, but Fizzy still has Body and Shape objects (fixtures are hidden, though).

I've been trying out physics engines for the first time ever today. I went from Phys2D (was missing a couple of things I thought I needed) to JBox2D (which made barely any sense, and when I finally got it implemented it was all messed up) to kev's Fizzy v0.1 (which should have worked, but applying a force just made me spin in a circle), and now I've settled on this version.

Without changing anything, this library made me stop spinning in circles and start moving properly, so props for whatever you fixed. I'm now back from being frustrated to excited about making some PHYSICS!

well this sure was easy to put into my current project (so far anyway). Thanks for making fizzy stay alive.

If so many here have been able to implement Fizzy and JBox2D properly into Slick, I hope someone could do a tutorial about it, or show the source code.
